Katarína Marčeková joined the Scio Research team in September 2025, focusing on research into curiosity and the use of artificial intelligence in education. She holds a degree in the Teaching of Mathematics and Informatics from Comenius University in Bratislava. She has taught at an international secondary school in Italy and at a private secondary school in Bratislava, where she also developed the Computer Science (Informatics) curriculum. Previously, she held a leadership position in a non-profit organisation working with primary school pupils interested in mathematics. In this role, she organised competitions and experiential learning events, mentored volunteers, and oversaw the organisation’s regional development.
