Josef Kousal is a self-taught full-stack developer with a strong focus on backend development and a keen product mindset. He joined the Scio Research team in September 2025 and works primarily on the development of a secure AI tool. He possesses extensive experience with TypeScript, LangChain, databases such as Postgres and Redis, and the wider LLM tool ecosystem. Previously, he worked at the startups Kakadoo and Anyrent.cz, where he held the role of full-stack developer with an emphasis on rapid iteration and end-to-end product ownership. He is fascinated by artificial intelligence, finance, and economics. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, playing the piano, and tennis.
