PhDr. Mgr. Ivana Olecká, Ph.D. is a specialist in social work, sociology of health, and research methodology. She works as an academic researcher at CMTF (Cyril and Methodius Faculty of Theology), Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech Republic, where she serves as the Programme Director for the bachelor’s programme in Social Work and as Deputy Head of the Department for science and research. Her research focuses on social determinants of health, health literacy, and social pathology, publishing numerous academic studies on these topics. She has extensive experience in both leading and participating in research projects and collaborates on developing professional standards in social work. She is a member of the Czech Sociological Society and other professional platforms.
