EduGenie: Effective and Safe Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence Tools in the Student Learning Process
Provider: Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA ČR)
Programme: SIGMA Programme for the Support of Applied Research and Innovation
Call: 10. VS – DC3 (SHUV)
Implementation Period: 09/2025 – 10/2028
PID: TQ23000086
Project Objectives and Description:
The project focuses on identifying the conditions for the effective and safe use of generative AI tools by pupils in instruction, including an analysis of differences across diverse groups (gender, socio-economic background, and Special Educational Needs [SEN]). Employing a quasi-experimental mixed-methods design, we will examine how AI influences learning processes.
Based on our findings, we will develop, pilot, and provide schools with an interactive LLM-based teaching tool that adapts to the individual needs of pupils. The tool is designed to enhance curriculum comprehension, foster critical thinking and creativity, and facilitate the acquisition of new knowledge and competencies.
